By which frequency should we measure?

We suggest that you measure team motivation every 4 to 6 weeks. If the team is subject to major changes or part of a re-organization, we recommend that you measure more frequently to pre-empt any issues that might lead to churn.

Why are measurements not anonymous?

We know and understand that anonymity is somewhat of a holy grail and/or cow in HR.

The thing about anonymity is that it obscures both issues and their root causes. As such anonymity makes it difficult to make data and/or insights actionable. Motivation is not to be trifled with, so we would expect you want to be as precise as possible.

Can you compare teams?

Not necessarily.

Clearly the self-assessment score can be used to compare motivation levels across teams. Apart from the motivation.

But as different teams have different tasks the self-assessment score will be linked to the nature of these tasks. Some teams are more operational. Some are more focused on development and innovation. The important thing is that each team is highly motivated.
