1.1 This privacy policy describes how PARETIFY ApS processes your personal data.
As part of our business, we record and use information about you (personal data). We do this to offer you the best advice and help you understand how you use your own data and we do this to comply with our agreements with you and to fulfill various legal requirements.

We always do our utmost to protect your personal data in accordance with applicable law. Our firm belief is that your data is your data. You are the owner and PARETIFY ApS will never pass on data that can be attributed to your person to third parties.

2.0 GENERAL PROVISIONS ON PERSONAL DATA

2.1 Why do we process your personal data?
We process personal data when:

You or your employer have entered into an agreement with us to answer surveys, specifically your preferences and experiences, cf. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. This could be, for example

  • Customer service
  • Consulting services
  • Administration
  • Identification and authentication of you as a customer etc.

You as an individual have given us consent to use your personal data for a specific purpose, cf. Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. This may be, for example

Marketing purposes, including sending newsletters, developing new products and preparing analyses

We are legally obliged to do so, cf. Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation: The Money Laundering Act, the Tax Control Act, the Bookkeeping Act or the Data Protection Act.

This is necessary to pursue our legitimate interests, cf. Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.

For example, to prevent misuse or loss and to strengthen IT and payment security. In this context, we only process your personal data if our interest clearly outweighs your interest in us not processing your personal data.

We process different types of general personal data depending on the purpose for which it is processed, including

Basic personal data, e.g. your name, email address, role (title), seniority, year of birth, employment and organizational affiliation according to the agreement entered into between your employer and PARETIFY ApS

Your preferences and assessments of issues relevant to your experience as an employee. Depending on the focus your employer has chosen, this could be within salary, gross salary elements, benefits, terms, tasks, career development, leadership, colleagueship and other issues relevant to your work

Information about the services we provide to you, including how you use them and your preferences in this regard – we do this to improve our and our partners’ products, services and technologies.

We do not process sensitive personal data about you.

2.3 Where do we collect your personal data from?
We collect your personal data from:

Yourself, e.g. when you fill out a profile, you call us or you communicate with us electronically or similar

Via your employer and in accordance with the data processing agreement between PARETIFY ApS and your employer

Third parties, such as public authorities and your bank, as well as publicly accessible databases such as the CPR register, OIS or the land registration system

2.4 How long do we keep personal data?
We store the personal data you provide us with for as long as permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected upon expiry of the agreement with your employer or if your working relationship with your employer ends. No personal data / personally identifiable data will then be stored by PARETIFY ApS.

2.5 Who do we disclose your personal data to?
We may share your personal data with third parties in certain cases, for example if

We disclose information about you to public authorities where we are required to do so by applicable law.

We share your personal data with credit reference agencies. If you default on your obligations to us, we may report you to credit rating agencies and/or warning registers in accordance with applicable law.

In connection with IT development, hosting and support, we transfer personal data to data processors located either within the EU/EEA or in a third country if there is an adequate level of protection.

We may share your personal data with our advisors, such as law firms, if necessary.

2.6 Profiling and automated decisions
Profiling is a type of automated processing of your personal data. For example, we use profiling and data modeling to offer you certain services and products that meet your preferences, to prevent money laundering, price services and products, detect fraud and risk of fraud, assess the likelihood of default and for marketing purposes.

However, your right of access may be limited by law or be exempt from the right of access.

3.2 Manual processing
You can gain insight into how an automated decision was made and the effects of the decision, and you are entitled to manual processing of any automated assessment.

3.3 Right to object
In certain cases, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. This applies when the processing is based on our legitimate interest.

3.4 Objection to direct marketing
You have the right to object to our use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling related to such purpose.

3.5 Rectification or erasure of your personal data
If the personal data processed about you is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you are entitled to have the data rectified or erased subject to the restrictions imposed by applicable law or rights to process your personal data. These rights are referred to as the “right to rectification”, “right to erasure” and “right to be forgotten”.

If you believe that the information we have registered about you is incorrect or if you have objected to our use of the information, you can demand that we restrict the use of the information for storage. The use will only be restricted until the accuracy of the data can be confirmed or until it can be verified whether our legitimate interests outweigh your interests.

If you are entitled to request us to delete the information we have registered about you, you can instead request us to restrict the use of this information to storage. If we only need to use the information we have registered about you to assess a legal claim, you may also request that other uses of the information be restricted to storage. However, we may be entitled to use the data for other purposes, including to assess a legal claim or if you have given your consent.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Please note that if you withdraw consent, we may not be able to offer you certain services or products. Please note that we will also continue to use your personal data, e.g. to fulfill an agreement we have made with you or if we have a legal right to do so.

If we use data based on your consent or an agreement and the processing of the data is automated, you have the right to receive a copy of the data you have provided in an electronic machine-readable format.

We update this information about our processing of personal data regularly. In case of a change, the “updated” date will be changed.

Any changes to this information about our processing of personal data will apply immediately to you and your personal data. If changes affect how your personal data is processed, we will take reasonable steps to tell you about the changes.
